Summary:
The Texas Society of Professional Engineers was founded in 1936, and it has become the largest state society in the United States. Composed of 27 local chapters and seven student chapters, TSPE is the only society in Texas whose voice speaks for all branches of engineering - the only active, established organization devoting its entire effort to the professional, ethical, economic, social and political aspects of engineering.
Full Description:Local Chapters are the lifeblood of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers. Chapters are encouraged to participate in state activities — such as MATHCOUNTS and Legislative Affairs — but they also have the option of pursuing activities that focus on local issues and interests. Organized into five regions, the 31 chapters provide the primary avenue for members to become involved in TSPE activities and projects. TSPE also works closely with its Student Chapters to promote the field of engineering and assist students in their endeavors to enter the profession. Please keep us informed of your chapter's activities - contact John Greeley at jgreeley@tspe.org with updates for your chapter's page.
